A new study by ABI Research forecasts the integration of GPS into every mobile device within five years. The report attributes this shift to the low cost of GPS chip sets, GPS modernization, and also the new Global Navigation Satellite Systems or GNSS. It also predicts that roughly 900 million GPS units be in use by 2013.
