Treo 650

The Treo is capable of placing both voice and data calls. A data call does not automatically “hang up” as does a voice call. It is up to the user to ensure the session is terminated. To do this, press the Menu key once. Highlight the Options tab and select Disconnect. The screen will display “disconnecting”.

Not Sure if the Data Session has Disconnected?
The easiest way to determine if the session has ended is to look at the signal strength indicator located in the upper right-hand corner of the display (next to the battery level indicator). If all that is displayed is the antenna and the bars next to it, antennayou are NOT connected in a data session. If you see two pale arrows above the bars, data session an active data session is in progress and charges are being incurred if over the alotted minutes on the monthly package.
